A Field Of Treasure…
My eyes opened to the…
Red, emerald, and amber colors,
With the rooster’s call in the morning…
I jumped out of my bed,
And hugged my grandpa with a kiss,
Reminding him of his promise to show me the farms…
We walked through the corn fields,
Standing so tall than my height,
Each corned wrapped so well hiding the delight…
I picked some corn in a basket,
Like i never saw them before,
Curious to open each one like a box of pearls…
A walk through the long rows,
Where the yellow pumpkins sat so low.
They were all so big hard for me to hold…
A beautiful walk of my lifetime,
Walking through the fields with nature’s chimes,
I look forward to visit my grandpa soon the next time…
